and so she blogs
i suppose this is my first post
I have wanted to start a blog for a while now, but it wasn’t until recently, that I seriously considered the idea. There were so many reservations that caused me to hesitate: What if I waste my time? What will I talk about? What if someday, it all disappears? So many things were hindering my inevitable start.
Actually, no.
this is the part where I call myself out:
I allowed trivialities to amplify my fear, and grew unnecessarily anxious about worries I can’t even begin to discern.
So what exactly pushed me to start? Well, I recently attended a conference for marketing students, and on the last day a very influential man delivered a few words that cemented my resolve to just do it already. As he spoke, I began drafting ideas for minimalistic layouts and sketching page plans. It’s funny how one person can be so inspiring. Anyway, now I’m here and I am determined to follow through.
but first, can i share a secret?
This is effectively the third time I am reposting this journal entry. I’ve copied this post from my secondary Tumblr (a fudged attempt) to my newly-created account, only to realize that Tumblr may not be the right platform for me. It seems I can’t quite get the hang of this whole blogging thing.
Hopefully, I can find a home in Medium, and I’ll figure out the rest along the way.
